Having left in 1990 to become a promotional manager, Ray later opened an art studio picture framing business at Witney, Oxfordshire. He returned for a memorial concert celebrating the life and music of Alan Hull in Nov 2005. Co-founder of "Legends of Folk Rock" in 2007 with Jerry & Kristina Donahue, Clive Bunker, Rick Kemp and Doug Morter.
