Left 1989 and became mgr of Ray's Hi-Level studio from 1990-1992 where he produced the notorious version of "Fog on The Tyne" with football star Gazza. After hundreds of sessions for others in 2000 he made his first own solo album "Troubadour Territory". Second album "Songs in a carrier bag" released in 2005. Still gigging solo.
